Tengkorak is Indogrind

At the end of 1993 Ombat, Danang, and Yoyok formed a band called Tengkorak. With the character of music which is influenced by one of pioneers of British grindcore band Napalm Death. Tengkorak originally consisted of four persons: M. Hariadi 'Ombat "Nasution (vocals), Danang Bhudiarto (Bass), Yoyok Radianto (Guitars), Denny Julianto (Drums). Then, In the fall of 1994 Adam Mustofa joined the line-up this guitar, Tengkorak is first Grindcore band with a touch The brutal death released mini "Demo Tape" Album in Jakarta. The title is "It's a Proud to Vomit Him" contains the four songs are: Primitive Jokes, Aggression, The Grave Torment and Bencana moral (a song in Indonesian language).After playing some shows in promoting the first release, Adam stop being busy with daily work day! But. bands are still determining the rules or keep it running, though running only with one guitar, the departure of Adam does not have an impact on the music minus Tengkorak!

In early 1997, Tengkorak tries to spread the tapes until their merchandise throughout the world Underground by sending their goods to a trader tapes, distros, bands, magazines, labels etc. Anyone who was involved in the Underground scene and they pioneered the network! This effort to make good results, the skull has sold their demo tapes not only in Indonesia but also in other countries around the world. At least Tengkorak to prove the existence of Indonesian Underground bands! One of the developments of all is the one distro and record companies of Japan (BLOOD BATH RECORDS JAPAN) interested in Tengkorak. Bloog Bath Record and finally released a mini album that contains 7 songs Tengkorak in Japan, it makes Tengkorak became the first Indonesian Underground band which released albums abroad! The title of the album is "Dying Poor".In November 1997, Tengkorak back into the recording studio to record a song entitled 'Konflik' to Compile Metalik klinik (Indonesian Underground Compilation) not long after they got a deal with one of the largest recording company in Indonesia, namely Musica! And pioneering bands Indonesia others to take part in this project! Finally, at the end of December 1997 "Metalik klinik" compilation distributed in record stores nationally and all that are distributed throughout Indonesia by MUSICA RECORDS INDONESIA. Until January 1998, had sold 60.000 copies in Indonesia only!

But behind all this. Tengkorak have to fire his old drummer is Denni Julianto, we can not be with him again because of bad attitudes among us all! So after Tengkorak had time to play with the help of drummer named Donni auditional from our neighboring bands SUFFERING.


And after a long play with the concept of a guitar, Tengkorak eventually add guitarist line up with the presence of Hella Tanisai Soon (former guitarist of Trauma) Adams, who replaced the resigned long ago. After playing in two performances, Tengkorak decided to keep Donni rimata as a permanent member, and finally Donni rimata left Suffering his old band to join with Tengkorak. Then Tengkorak formation personnel were: M. Hariadi "ombat" Nasution, SH., (Vocals), Danang Bhudiarto, SH. (Bass), Haryo "Yoyok" Radianto, SI-H (Guitars), Hella Tanisan (Guitar), Donni Rimata (Drums).


March-April 1999, the skull back into the kitchen of records in Magenta Studio to record the first full length album entitled "konsentrasi masa". This album contains 20 songs, such as Oknum, ASAP Tebal, GAWEAN REGET, PRIMITIVE jokes, kemelut, konsentrasi masa, spekulasi bisnis, penjilat, prestasi gila, Buruh, Ejakulasi bisnis, Cacat politik, Dosa keluarga, Bencana moral, DiskriminasI, Chaos or Riot , Aztec, dogma, PROPAGANDA.
